What cable do I need to connect MacPro 2012 tower to Benq 2006 Monitor?

I have so far bought these and they do not work:

1080P HDMI Male to VGA Female Video Adapter Cable for PC DVD HDTV

2m DVI to HDMI Digital Cable/Lead PC LCD HD TV 6ft GOLD (recommended by apple genius)

Ugreen DVI 24+5 DVI-I Dual Link to VGA Male to Male Digital Video Cable Gold Plated Support 1080P for Gaming, DVD, Laptop, HDTV and Projector (5ft)

The first and third one, the input and output are exactly the same.. So perhaps I need male/female version? I just don't have a clue about any of this 😟

Benq monitor apparently has VGA and HDMI. I have attached photos of everything

Thanks so much if anyone can help!!!!

The left-most connector on the monitor looks like a DVI input and the left-most one on the Mac is also a DVI. A standard DVI cable should work. If the resolution of the monitor is greater than 1920x1200 you need a dual-link DVI cable.

The blue multipin connector on the monitor is VGA and you can get a mini displayport>VGA adopter.

I do not know why your purchased the cable in your first link since I do not see an HDMI connection on either the Mac or monitor.

The cable in your second link should work if the monitor resolution is 1020x1200 or less.
